TROUBLESHOOTING Are you having problems with your production machines? We can supply additional technical capability to your production and maintenance teams with our specialist know how on an "as needed" basis. Reducing the need for bringing in technicians from abroad.

Do you have machines down that require additional expertise to get it running again? Device communications problems Are you having problems with serial communications between devices such as PLCs and HMIs or VFD. We can troubleshoot serial communication problems between devices, reading the data sent between devices and the transmission timing.

Do your machines have permanent “temporary” repairs that require continually fixing during production time? We can implement permanent and lasting solutions.

MAINTENANCE AND MODIFICATIONS Do you have improvement projects or line modifications that you would like to implement, but do not have the available time and resources in your engineering team to start or complete? We can design/build and fit control and related automated systems, and remove this workload from your existing production and maintenance team.

Thermographic Survey (goto themography page) We can identify possible safety issues and fire hazards such as overloaded circuits and degraded electrical connections by using thermography. We can also use thermography and other methods to quickly identify fault points in mechanical equipment as well as electrical equipment and systems.

Do you have regularly occurring problems or persistent fail points in your production line or equipment? We can perform root cause analysis for persistent failures or problems. We investigate all surrounding contributors including inputs, outputs, environmental, human and other effects, as well as the device itself.

Do you have electronic circuit boards with surface mount components that need to be repaired? We are able to repair electronic circuit boards with small and delicate components, using fine temperature controlled soldering irons and special de-soldering tools that do not damage the circuit-board, as well as hot air soldering and de-soldering for surface mounted components. All electronic work is carried out in an electronically safe anti-static environment.

Do you have a machine that has lost use of the PLC controller or HMI? We can supply replacement control systems for machines either PLC or relay type this includes design, programming and fitting of the new control system.

Do you need help programming PLCs , HMIs or configuring inverters/ VFDs? We can determine the parameters that you require and configure or program your device. We can also build and provide remote operator panels for inverters/ VFDs to your requirements. We can recover settings and configuration from damaged VFDs that no longer power up.

Do you need systems, devices or equipment monitoring to identify problem conditions or events over a period of time? Diagnostic data logging and condition monitoring. We can monitor temperature, humidity, voltage and current. We can also build monitoring systems to your requirements, as a new device design.

Fitting of safety interlocking. Do you need safety interlocking for machine protection or operator safety?We can supply and fit device protection interlocking, as well as machine operator safety devices (light curtains etc.)

Safety training presentations We provide presentations on safety from a technical point of view, as an engineering process. An experienced engineer presents the subject matter in an interactive format, encouraging audience participation and discussion from a technical point of view. Engaging the audience in order maximise content retention.

Implementation of maintenance strategies and documentation We can help you with your maintenance strategies, from creating simple folders of machine technical data and diagrams for faster and more effective trouble shooting and maintenance to full maintenance procedures and machine history records. Identifying and marking of power and piping of sources and distribution to the plant.
